Upcoming Expeditions
Interactive scavenger hunts and outdoor events for those who prefer their maps contradictory and their paths uncertain.
What is this, exactly?
Our outdoor events are part treasure hunt, part walking tour, and part local soap opera—with a healthy dose of misdirection. You’ll be equipped with a map (which may or may not be telling the truth) and a set of cryptic clues. From there, the path is yours to choose. Follow the suggested trail or blaze your own route through tangled tales and suspicious landmarks. Expect folklore, fake companies, dramatic twists, and at least one moment where you yell “I think we’re close!” while standing in a ditch. It’s a celebration of curious minds, bold guessers, and those with a healthy disregard for straight lines.

Status: The Chesterfield Pilot ("Operation Guinea Pig")
For our first event at Holmebrook Valley Country Park, we are currently in our Pilot Phase. This means we are testing the app, the systems, and the patience of our developers in a live environment. Because this is a test run, we are offering tickets at a reduced "Pilot Price" and in limited quantities. In exchange for this discount, we ask for two things:
Your Patience: If the app glitches, we promise to fix it (or blame the atmospheric pressure).
Your Data: After the event, we will send a Post-Expedition Survey. We need your honest feedback on the pricing, the difficulty, and the quantity of mud. Your answers will help shape the future of the Institute.

Environmental Policy: The Invisible Directive
The Institute operates on a 'Ghost-in-the-Woods' philosophy. Our gameboards are digitally layered and physically non-invasive; we utilize existing landmarks and temporary markers to ensure that the only trace of our presence is the satisfied curiosity of our participants. We leave the mud where we found it.
